Embracing the Fire Of Change
The poem “The Clay Path” is explaining the reason behind embracing the fire of change. Past failures and frustration that is symbolized by a ” bouquet of annoyances” and the choices that are faced at the crossroads in life, enable someone to embrace the fire of change. Let’s enjoy the poem.
The Crossroads of Life: Choosing the Path of Transformation
The Clay Path
Years have passed, yet distances same,
A constant reward less efforts, failures the same,
I’m holding a “bouquet of annoyances” in the rain, The path is dark, I’m alone and thorns are same.

Standing at the crossroads, I gaze ahead,
Two paths unfold, one muddy, one of clay instead,
Choosing mud would weigh my bouquet more,
While clay and rain will transmit colors ahead.

If I look back, stones glare me with anger
Summer air greets me, as I stranger
Memories of places where I wasn’t held dear,
Fuels my mind to move ahead to be braver.

With every step, I need to be thinker best,
My past clear my ways with stronger wind,
And present fuels my power of decisions rest.

I’ll walk on the clay path, come rain or shine,
Magics of clay will be same and refine,
For in the fire of change, l’ll find my might,
And rise, renewed into the morning’s shine.
