Strive In

Strive In

I heard the sounds of strive in,
Everything is busy to drive in.

A symphony of effort and might,
A city pulsing through day and night.

I aimed to take a step to prosper by the way,
And decided to search for pearls in the rich clay.

I gathered my strength, though scattered at first,
And found my pen, a powerful tool, a diary my friend best.

I began to arrange my thoughts clear,
To pen them, searched words, linguistic and near.

But I found myself tired, with  words unspoken,
And thought to take rest, my thirst for words unbroken.

So, in dreams, I found myself a writer, very bold,
Enjoying life with wealth and fame untold.

Those lovely dreams were born of superior thinking,
I found easy way to enjoy life, its mysterious unfolding.

Thinking bright on my bed, I fell asleep,
And discovered the easy way to life’s treasure heaps.

Since then, I keep my diary and pen under my pillow,
Ready to embrace my ‘ strive in’ with full glow.
