Exploring Mental Health Through Poetry
Fractured Thoughts
My fractured thoughts, unable to swim, without fins,
Drowning in the pond of curiosity, concealing secrets within.
Wandering through summer’s days, so long,
I search for rest in the shadow of tree strong.
O scorching wind! Are you free only to pursue me relentlessly?
My fractured thoughts, shattered further, because of thee.
I came here years ago, but still unfamiliar though,
How to be brave, and in summer’s heat, how to glow.
I’m in the quest of dew drops of morning shine,
I’ll beg them refresh me, and mend fragile mind of mine
O dear wind, my companion, can you tell me the way,
How to search that fragile drops to make myself gay?
What will be the day? When I will wake,
And dawn will refresh my mind for my sake.
Dew drops will be on my lashes and,
My fractured thoughts will play grand.
