Parents’ Love and Nostalgia in Poetry

Parents’ Love and Nostalgia in Poetry

Parents are the anchors of our lives, grounding us with unconditional love and timeless wisdom. ‘A Bond Beyond Time’ reflects the parents’ love and nostalgia in poetry. This poem offers a glimpse into a daughter’s journey during lockdown holidays with her kids, capturing the nostalgia and joy of revisiting her parents’ home. Through soothing words and vivid imagery, it celebrates the warmth, care, and irreplaceable connection that only a parent’s embrace can provide. Let these verses take you on a journey of love, gratitude, and the enduring bond with those who shaped our lives.

A Bond Beyond Time

I left your street full of glee,
Feeling sad, came back in hurry,

Having huge crush on your lovely dawns,
Where birds chirp on green tree,

Some cherish moments in my mother’s house,
Kill my fatigue and make me sorrows free,

Fragrant surrounding with parental love,
A unique bond to join whole family.

As I basked in the warmth of your love,
I find myself senseless in time fully.

Soothing breeze of your town, a Serene symphony,
A melody chases me and my soul take a fly to thee.

I’m just humble to have you like a precious gift,
May you stay for long, like a shady tree.

You enjoy all the blessings and health above of them,
May you never have to see any decree.

You both are assets of my life,
As you smile, on harbor I sail the fleet.

My lovely parents, you pampered me a lot,
To pay back, I’m disable to my breeds.
