Love Poem: Love’s Faded Petals
Interplay Of Love And Longing
Love’s Faded Petals
My love bloomed like a rose true,
But, now the petals have changed into blue.
Its petals are dried, and fly around the clock,
It seems that my love is wearing emotional frock.
At night, when the clock struck the twelve,
Lovely petals are arranged in the bookshelf.
In the midnight, petals fly in the air, swirling round,
When, I am writing a poem in rhythm bound.
If the theme of my poem is love beyond the world,
Then, the petals take a twist and become curled.
With my creation, when the gentle breeze sounds clear,
My poor petals scattered wide like frock’s flyer.
The breeze whispers secrets, as they drift away,
Leaving me with longing, at the end of each day.
In the end, love’s faded petals, remain,
A bitter sweet reminder of love’s sweet refrain.

In the love poem “Love’s Faded Petals,” love and longing are deeply intertwined, creating a poignant narrative of emotions. The rose, once in full bloom, symbolizes the intensity and beauty of love at its peak. As the petals fade and scatter, they represent the inevitable transformation of love over time. This imagery conveys a sense of loss and longing for the past, as the speaker reflects on the love that once was. The swirling petals in the midnight air serve as a metaphor for memories and emotions that linger even after love begins to fade.
