I’m still being ignored
I’m so smart, I’m special for all,
I’m heard by the wind and strong wall.
My accent’s clear, my words so bold,
No one can answer me with fear, so cold.
When I talk to the birds, so tinny and bright,
They praise my words, funny and light.
I understand their language, every chirp and tweet,
Aware of each situation, every nuance so neat.
I’m skilled at conversing with strong gusts of wind,
Important discussion takes place, secrets are shared within.
Green meadows host our meetings, free from fear,
The wind shares its secrets and I hear.
I express my sorrows of life and glee,
It offers consultation for life without fee.
But alas, people ignore me, hour after hour,
Lacking the power to engage, they cower.
In fact, I’m being ignored by those,
To them, I remained always close.
Who don’t have intellect, as wind,
And not sweet like birds’ chirping.
I’m still being ignored by those,
Who are delving in opponent’s gloss.

This poem is about the feelings of being ignored. The speaker tactically explain about the situation of being ignored. She is asserting that the people who are ignoring, they are not enough important for her as the air and wall or birds, but she is feeling pain of being ignored because she remained close to them for many years, at that time , she meant too much for them. They were respected, and they were obeyed by her. But for someone, they left her, they began to ignore her.
