Age Difference

New Age Trauma

There was an age, when the night was respected,
As the darkness prevailed, each work was disrupted.

Birds winged their way to nests above,
And humans rested, in a peaceful love.

They enjoyed the sweet dreams, at the time right,
And got up early to enjoy the sunbeams fully bright.

But now, the era of burgers and shoarma has begun,
Late-night sleep patterns are causing trauma for young.

Late night and screens, a toxic blend,
Leave the bareheaded, in a thinking end.

Rebels to nature, living life in gray,
Their days in haze, their nights in disarray.

Let them recall, the night’s gentle grace,
And find their rest, in its embracing space.
